The members of the Syrinx Quintett studied in Vienna at the "Musikuniversität" and at the "Konservatorium Privatuniversität".
Their interest to keep alive the traditional Viennese music sound and style was deeply influenced by the use of period-instruments, research in old music sources as well as historic performance practices.
