Elke Eckerstorfer was born in Linz, Austria. After a musical
education at the Bruckner-conservatory in Linz she continued her studies at
the University of Music and performing Arts in Vienna. She attended the piano-class
of Antoinette van Zabner and the organ-class of Rudolf Scholz and Michael Radulescu.
2000/01 she spent one year in Paris to study french music at the Conservatoire
national superieur with Michel Bouvard and Olivier Latry. She won first prices
in Austrian competitions for young musicians and the first price in the international
organ-competition for young organists 1998 in Aigen-Schlägl, Austria.
Radio and cd productions, concerts in Europe and Japan complete her artistic
work.
